Will D With the 2010 high school basketball season half over, Will DiIorio of Bainbridge High School has put everyone on notice that he is one of the best Prep players anywhere. The Senior shooting guard, now standing 6'5", after growing three inches in the offseason, has been recognized as a top player throughout Seattle's Metro League (considered the state's toughest league by most) and was selected to the All Tournament Team at the prestigious Surf & Slam national tournament held in San Diego, CA last month. Will's powerful leaping ability, soft shot, and take charge attitude have resulted in consistently outstanding performances like last Tuesday's 25 points, 17 rebounds, 3 steals, and 3 dunks against the always dangerous and extremely athletic Cleveland Eagles. In addition to his obvious basketball skills and physical talents, Will's leadership, off court behavior, above average GPA, and dedication have several universities interested and have earned him the SportsWorx Northwest Athlete of the Month award.
